In 2012 Laura Barraclough, Wendy Cheng, and myself published, A People’s Guide to Los Angeles (University of California Press). The Guide is a radical tour book that highlights sites of racial, class, gender, and environmental struggle in Los Angeles County’s history and landscape. The University of California Press has since commissioned “A People’s Guide” book series.
